Biography
Paloma Holloman (née Hospedales-Mohammed) is an Illinois attorney and is the founder of PHM Law, LLC. Paloma went to DePaul University for her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. At DePaul, she was a Community Service Scholar and minored in Community Service Studies. She received her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Estate Planning from UIC John Marshall Law School. Paloma is an adjunct instructor at Waubonsee Community College, teaching courses on Estate Planning/Probate and Legal Ethics.
Paloma has always had a passion for helping others to achieve their goals. She understands the value of hard work not just from her own experience but also from seeing the experiences of her family members and close friends. She enjoys estate planning because she can help others preserve and maximize the results of their hard work and success.
Paloma is the first attorney in her large, Trinidadian family. She was born and raised in Illinois and loves giving back to the community. During her time at DePaul, she served numerous organizations whose causes ranged from civil rights to family and child protection. While she was in law school, she interned at John Marshall Law School's Domestic Violence Clinic, assisting domestic violence survivors with housing, employment, debt, and tax-related matters. Through her previous and current work and volunteer experiences, she has interacted with and served individuals of all different backgrounds. She possesses a strong ability to empathize with others and truly enjoys connecting with new people.
In her spare time, Paloma enjoys hanging out with her husband and busy toddler, cooking, and watching “binge-worthy” television shows.
